Ryte2Wyn – Fantasy – Base Edition

As parents and educators, we realize flash cards can be a negative experience for some children. They find them boring and are founded in brute memorization of math facts. Which has its place but have you ever had a child cry because it was “math flash cards” time? It breaks your heart. All they wanted to do was go play Pokemon. So we created the card game, “Ryte2Wyn”.

Uses numbers 0 – 9.

The game is overly simple: Choose whether your game is going to be adding/subtracting/multiplying. Draw 2 cards. Both players do the math and whoever has the highest answer wins. That’s it!

If it’s a tie, each person draws a card to ADD to their answer until someone wins.

Winner of the “battle” discards their highest card to the right – leaving 1 card in front of them. (This handicaps his next answer so one player isn’t winning non-stop)

Loser of the “battle” discards their lowest card to the left – also leaving 1 card in front of them. (Giving them a slight advantage next battle)

Once all 30 cards are played, players add up their RIGHT discard pile to determine the winner (That’s why it’s called Ryte2Wyn!)

Best parts? No one can cheat because all the cards in play are face up. No one wins non-stop making the other player rage-quit.

There’s 50 cards for a game that lasts 5 – 10 minutes when playing with 1 or 2 people.
